So here’s the deal. I made a blanket for my dog a few years ago out of old (and very loved!) tshirts. I had a lot of tshirt squares left and I was finally able to put them to use in this gray upcycled tshirt foldover flap purse.
It’s made with mostly tshirt, lined with some leftover black and cream zebra-ish floral print from a different project. Two pockets inside are made with the sleeves from a couple polo shirts (one is black and one is salmon). I used a fun bright yellow thread to jazz it up a bit, and the two side edges of the purse are hand-stitched by yours truly.
It measures 9 3/4″ wide and 6 1/2″ high when closed. The strap is about 24 1/2″ from side to side.
