Product Description

Pillowcases are some of the best materials for repurposing into bags! They’re worn and soft, and come in almost any pattern imaginable.

When I saw this one at the thrift store, I couldn’t resist its brown, yellow and orange color combo, and its 70’s era mountains-trees-clouds pattern.

This hobo-style bag is made from a thrifted pillowcase, cotton lining, and an unfinished wood handle with metal rings.

Inside, it has two large pockets that stretch across one side, and two rows of smaller pockets on the other side. It closes with a square magnetic snap.

It’s just a little over 15″ wide at the widest point, and about 12 1/2″ tall from where the handle meets, to the bottom. If you hold the handle and let the bag hang, it’s about 20″ from top of the handle to the bottom of the bag.

Quite roomy, but not oversized, this fun upcycled pillowcase purse is sure to catch attention!
