My dog is not into frisbee. She’s more of a squirrel-stalker, tennis-ball-chaser, rolling-around-in-fresh-cut-grass type of dog. But some dogs like to get high…
I took a poll on my Facebook page to see which of these four shirts I should work on, and the dog shirt won out.
So let’s begin. Here is the shirt in its entirety:
I wanted to do a round purse, kinda like a frisbee, so I found that our dinner plates were the perfect size for my pattern. Here are most of my materials :
I’m happy I finally had a shirt that coordinated with that cheap belt I got a while back!
Here’s the pattern pinned to the front, and then the second set for the inside of the purse:
And then all the pieces together:
I decided to do a slim edge to allow for the belt strap, so here are one of the inside and one of the outsides pinned:
After I sewed both the front and the back to the sides, here’s what it looks like:
I had to make small cuts all along the edges, so when it was turned right side out the seams laid flat.
A few more stitches and I was done!
