Last week I showed you all my Rasta colored t-shirts and what I made from several of them. I used just a little bit of the t-shirt yarn on my Bob tee refashion, but I’ve been busy with the rest of that yarn!
I created a collection of Rasta bracelets and necklaces, as a fundraiser of sorts. Now that we have a 2 year old, saving money is challenging (especially when we could probably own a second home with the money we have to spend on day care!). However, next year the hubby and I are going on a cruise to Jamaica. It’s already booked and partially paid off, but we still have a ways to go. And while I could probably work some overtime at my regular job to make extra cash…crafting is so much more fun!
Besides raising money for my own purposes, I’ve also decided that this particular collection will help further my eco-mission. I’m going to donate $1 for every Rasta item sold to Friends of the Earth, a highly-rated non-profit that works for a healthy environment for all people.
So without further ado…here are some photos of the bohoECO Rasta Collection!
I’m still working on a few additional items like headbands and other necklace styles, to be posted soon.
If you’d like to purchase anything, please hop on my Etsy store or send me an email or convo for a custom request. All my items are handmade from upcycled materials. They’re one-of-a-kind, and perfect for a birthday or holiday gift!
