Disclaimer: I am terrible at math.
I read a statistic recently that blew my mind: If you leave the water running while you’re brushing your teeth, you waste 6 gallons per brushing. Brush twice a day, and that’s 12 gallons a day. Over a year, you’re out 4,380 gallons of water. Crazy! So the rule is – just turn the water off while you’re brushing. Don’t make me tell you twice!
Even though bohoECO is always all about earth-friendly and recycling, now that it’s “Earth Month” I’m kicking it into high gear with this project.
Here’s what I started with:
See what that is? Here’s a closer look:
Right on, t-shirt!
Because a big white purse is oh-so-boring, I had to add some fun with patchwork. Grays and blacks look lovely, but I also wanted some watery colors to go with the theme…
And a while later, done!
This is what I like to call a “big-little” purse. Goes over the shoulder, lots of room but small enough that you can’t pack a ton of stuff or make it too heavy (like with a big hobo-style).
I’m hoping to be able to do some fun crafty recycle projects with the little man this month, so be sure to stop by my Facebook page to see pics!
